500 ml bottle, batch #N285, from Vinmonopolet Haugesund. ABV is 6.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Large beige head. Aroma of roast malts and dark cherries. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, smooth and pleasant to drink. Moderately roast malts with discrete notes of cherries.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, cherry stones, yeast, grass, dried cherries, minerals, hay, dark malts, weeds, flowers, bark. Taste is sour-ish mineraly, weeds, metal tank, sour grass, berry skin, burnt grain, cherry stones, ashes, paper, cherry, bark, yeast. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh metallic mouthfeel. Duggfrisk 2016. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is cherries, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is cherries, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, sugar. Medium body. Nice beer.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark reddish brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, ripe cherry with hint of wood. Flavor is medium sweet malt, some toast, hint of chocolate, dry cherry and balanced bitterness. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Not super complex, but rather unusually and quite interesting.

Bortimot svart farge med beige relativt høyt skum. Lukter kakao, bær og lakris. medium fylde. litt salt i smaken.

0.5l bottle from #295. Well, it's definitely dark on the pour this. Not top far off black really and on the top a nice medium sized fading beige head. On the nose it's a bit confused. It's definitely sweet and a little fruity, yet also quite yeasty and almost a little roasted. Smells almost a little spiced. It's not a bad aroma, just a little all over the place. Different you'd might say. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Strange Tasting. Can't really decide if I like it or not. After the fist few ships it's more the latter really. Strange fruity licorice, it's almost tart wood astringent. There's also a little fruitiness in the taste. Can't really wrap my head around if I like it or not, but it's a interesting one for sure. 01.10.2016
