Bottle, two months before bbd. Pours clear, dark brown, with a creamy, mocha head. Aroma is nice, burned malts, with bread and chocolate, as well as some notes of coffee and wood. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, chocolate and coffee, as well as some wood and minerals in the finish. Very nice and drinkable.

0.5l bottle from #016? This one pours a deeper dark copper bronze brown colored body. On the top there's a medium sized, quickly fading beige top. Not much lacings to brag about. It smells mildly roasted, a good amount of dark malt types here. A little hint of cocoa and chocolate also. Smells like it should really, nothing more. Tastes decent also, but it has a mild chalky tone that I don't particularly like. Sweet dark malty in the taste. Some cardboard here. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average, actually quite soft on the carbonation. Watery chocolate in the finish. Like the story on the bottle more than the beer itself. 09.09.2016

500ml bottle, #018, bought at Meny Oslo City. A two-finger thick, fawn-coloured head over a near-clear mahogany coloured body. Spotty lacing. Brown malty aroma, nuts and caramel. Roasted brown malty flavours, moments of nuts, dark dough, caramel and a coffee twist towards a drying ending. Medium bodied. Pretty alright (Hotel room, Oslo 23.05.2016).
