330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A bright warm golden body under a steady white head. Crocheted lacing on the glass. Restrained smell of dough and apple skins. Mild sweet apples to the taste profile added by grain. Mid-sweet end. Soft on the swallow. Accepted. (Tromsø 29.08.2018).

Flaske 330ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Batch EP28. Gyldengulbrun. Veldig høyt tett skum. Lett maltaroma. Smaken lett fruktig. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert.

A clear 0.33l bottle. As always I'm skeptical when it comes to clear glass bottles, but I'll give it a go. Clear as golden in the glass with a tiny filmy white gloating head on the top. It doesn't smells really e this. Not horrible though, a clear reference to Apple juice sweetness combined with metallic and slightly skunky pilsner. Why not use a colored bottle? Tastes really strange, but not too bad actually. I like the hybrid thought in some ways. It has a thin oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. Zesty lime sourness that works for the beer. Quite watery flavors really. Interesting but I don't really get what kind of beer this is supposed to be. 25.04.2015

Golden with a white head - Apples in the aroma - Hints fo malt and some apple flavour - Hints of malt and apples in the finish - This was barely ok

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow colour with a small white head. A little spicy and sweet aroma with hay, grass, apple skin and hints of pepper and diacetyl. Sweet is also the flavour with more sweet corn, dry hay and a little tart and sweet apple touch. Dry and malty ending. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, light bitterness and body. A fresh and sweet pilsner. Decent.

Tja. En helt grei pils. Dvs litt bedre enn pils var det. Men så altfor mye av eplesmaken merket jeg ikke. Kan ane det fordi jeg vet det er epler der. Litt synd. Hadde litt gode forhåpninger til denne. Også Gravenstein epler….mmmm. Men den var lettdrikkelig i sommervarmen. Helt greit sak.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sour-ish grainy, dried grain, popcorn, hay, grass, sulfur. Taste is sour-ish mineraly, wet hay, sour grain, minerals, paper, old sour washcloth, sour grass, sulfur. Little bitterness, harsh sour-ish mouthfeel. Not even a hint of apples what so ever. Pure crap!!

Lukt: Duft av frukter og trevirke.
Utseende: Lys gulbrun farge.
Skum/kullsyre: Tynn hinne sku, heng langs kant.
Smak: Smak av frukter som eple og pære med en litt syrlig ettersmak.
Hvor: Kjøpt@Vaaland Bryne, Nydt@Lokal hjemme tasting med Gorm.

Bottle at Cardinal. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is apple, malt, hop. Flavour is apple, malt, hop, grain, grass, fruit. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
