Fra flaske på Cardinal, M2 sesongåpning: tynt filmskum og en ufrisk aroma lover ikke godt, men eplesmaken er heldigvis frisk og god. Sommerdrikk med ciderpreg, enkel å helle over drøvelen men ingen ølopplevelse. 15 IBUiflg. Sigmund. En klassisk pilsner skal ha mellom 30 og 45 IBU (Ray Daniels: Designing Great Beers). Skjønner ikke hva denne skal være, en rar hybrid.

From bottle at Cardinal. Cloudy golden. Quickly diminishing white head. Unfresh aroma and taste of green apples. If apples had not been added, this would have been an off-taste. I think it still is. Better apple taste in aftertaste. Low bitterness.

330 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with fine, lacing white head. Aroma is light malty with some cider apple and mature apple. Flavor is light and refreshing malt with fruity apple flavor. Basically like a lager with apple juice/cider actually and it works great for mer. Medium bod, moderate aftertaste. A nice combo, very refreshing.

330 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. 15 IBU. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Aroma of sweet eating apples, wet cardboard and dust. Tolerably refreshing pale lager flavour with moderate perfumed notes of apples, not too sweet, but too modest hops.

On tap at Cafe Herman. It pours a lightly unclear, golden body under a dense, white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a fine pilsner style scent, grainy, grassy and lightly peppery, with a good apple fruityness added. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, with pale malts, some resins and peppery notes. Grass and apples too. Medium to full body, dry and nicely carbonated. Lasting bitter finish with apples. A fine beer, refreshing and tasteful. 140617

Draught @ Cafe Herman, Leikanger
Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, slightly sour yellow apples, floral and grass. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long apple fruity and slightly dry and sour finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft,
