Two year old bottle at home. The colour is slightly hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Careful aroma of malty, dried fruit, wood, nuts and bread crust. The flavour is more sweet with lots of dates, caramel, bread, spices and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. A malty and balanced ale.

Flaske kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Jekta. Aroma plomme, malt, mulig noe jordbær i kanten, ved. Utseende uklar rødbrun med hvitt skum. Smak Frukt, nøtter, tresirup. Litt spesiell øl, litt god, men samtidig litt mystisk/spesiell

Clear amber color with a fine off white head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a smooth carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Bready, toffee, some spices and dried fruity flavor. Decent beer.

0.5l bottle from #150014. I think this is my very first one from the legendary Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri. Looks good in the glass with a really tall fluffy beigeish head, tons of lacings and curtains down the sides of the glass. All this over a mild cloudy deep bronze amber colored body. It has a nice Christmassy aroma. Lots of the generic slightly metallic dark Christmas caramel with tones of dark malts and a little bit of dark dried fruits. A hint of vanilla in here as well. Not bad. Tastes quite nice also. Generic Norwegian style dark malty and caramelly flavors. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Soft traces of metallic nuts. It's not something I will buy again, but that's more a personal flavor preference, cause this wasn't a bad Christmas beer. 30.11.2015

500 ml bottle. Unclear reddish amber body with a nice, dense, beige head. Aroma has malt, bread and slightly fruity (dry fruit). Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, slightly spicy, moderate bitterness and some fruit. Medium body and average aftertaste. Half decent Christmas beer in the British tradition I guess.
