On tap @ Amundsen. This is a near clear deep amber almost a little ruby red looking one with a medium sized islandy off-white head, leaving some lacings. The nose is mildly caramel sweet, red apples and some mild fruity things here as well. A bit mild but nice. Quite thin and almost a little watery in the mouth and it's quite gently on the carbonation. It tastes quite alright actually. Soft woody caramel, it's really English in the style, and it thank God, fully lacks that buttery diacetyl often found in these. A little roasted hint in the finish. It actually tastes quite alright this. Sessionable, could chug down a few of these. 14.02.2014

On tap at Nydalen Bryggeri. A reddish light brown beer with a small, dense light beige head. The aroma has some fruityness, a touch of caramel malts and some grassy hints. Caramel, a faint roasted touch and some fruityness in the flavor. Lacking a bit on bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry. Malt dominated finish. Pretty boring this one, far from bad though. 140502

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear, reddish amber body with a moderate sized, dense off-white head. Mild aroma of malt with a hint of biscuit and caramel with a touch of fruity hops. Refreshing fruity and malty flavor with a pleasant light bitterness. Medium body and decent in aftertaste. A very nice, classic session beer bitter. Goes also very well with the food.
