64oz growler from Shoreline Beverage. Pours a very hazy straw gold with some creamy white head. Nose is spot on, mild sweetness, floral, some straw, some herbs, yeast, lemon. Flavor follows suit, lightly sweet, malty, some mild candy, lemon, light soap, herbal, floral too, mild pepper. Crisp finish. Real easy to drink. Solid.

On tap @ The Gingerman, New York. Pours light golden with a creamy finger thick head. Aroma is yeast with quite a lot of fruitiness, and nice whiffs of peach. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with fruity yeast and peach.

On tap @ The Pony NYC. A glowing cloudy almost yellow golden one with a nice big and lasting dense top. The nose is mild, quite gentle but still manages to be really nice and inviting. Orange zest, blackcurrant, wheat, yeast and citrus. It has a mild gliding oily mouthfeel and a average small bubbled carbonation level. More citrus in the taste, wheat, white pepper, orange zest the dried kind, gooseberries and quite a fair amount of grassy hops. More than I'm used to in my saisons really. Quite complex and refreshing. Yeasty finish with a deep lasting aftertaste. Quite enjoyable. 20.06.2013

Proletariat, NY tap ($7): Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma is saison yeast, of course, citrus, spice and some hops. Taste is slightly sweet, somewhat funky, plenty spice and just very saisonesque. More hits of citrus and funk than there is of hops. I would not have called this a hoppy saison in my book.
