Golden with a white head - a good sour aroma with some wood in there as well - A good sour and acidic malt body with wood notes there as well - lingering sour finish that lasts for some time - this was a very good and sour beer

On tap @ Schouskjelleren. This one pours a cloudy orange almost honey colored body with a small white light lacing bubbly top. Fantastic sour and tart aroma. Really fresh and inviting. It's just screaming I AM A SOUR!! lemon and lemon zest with a little bit of wood and white currants. Oh it tastes refreshing this. It has a mild oily mouthfeel, somewhat mouthdrying and the carbonation level is just below average. More soft brett lemons, I'd like to say the conserved kind, but I'm not completely sure that I will. It's definitely not over the top acidic or sour this, just plain delicious and refreshing. Rum? Could have fooled me anytime, but I get a slightly candy "vingummi" thing in the finish. As is plum zest and sour apricots. Damn, this is a complex little thing. Highly enjoyed. 24.05.2013

Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh and sour, citrus, caramel, oak, citrus peel, grass, some paint. Taste is refreshingly sour, sorrel, citrus peel, grass, oak, citrus, caramel. Longlasting bitterness. Very nice!

Tap at CP&K meet the brewer event. It pours hazy orange-amber, with no head or carbonation. The nose is wood, smoke, rum, sweet berry, green apple and farmyard. The taste is full of rum, hay, grass, alcohol burn, tart Granny Smith apple, weak lemon and spice, with a tart, dry finish. I though this one was a bit more obvious and harsh than the Laphroaig version. Still good, but I prefer the Laphroaig.

On tap at the ’meet the brewer’ night at CP&K. Hazy light brown beer, no head. Smooth, low carbonation palate. Moderate sourness, just very slightly acidic. Nice woody rum. Dry and pleasantly sour finish. A really nicely joined up sour and as several people mentioned it shares some characteristics with the better rum barrel ciders.
