Green 500ml can from a tourist supermarket on the Greek island of Zante: Sep 2011. Pale, even by Greek lager standards, the thin white head going almost as soon as it arrived. Taken on my apartment terrace on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Slight hop aroma, well some hop extract maybe. I would like to say the beer was insipid, but was worse than that, really tasteless. Fizzy and semi-sweet at first, then a nasty dry cardboard element kicked in. Even though I was chilled and relaxed when I cracked open the can I still couldn’t find a redeeming feature about this beer. A true cheap supermarket beer and one I’ll not be having again.

0.33l can. Pours a clear pale golden body with a thin sidesticking white lager-head. Aroma is mild malty with some soapy hints. Oily mouthfeeling, soft to average carbonation and medium-bodied. Tastes light malty, kinda sweet actually. Hints of cactus and lime. The sweetness does this beer really good. Ends watery, mildly bitter and light dry. Not bad for a boring lager.

Found this masterwork in Cyprus. Straw colour with small bubbles. The aroma is kind of like wet grain, which I guess it sort of is. The character is doughy, with a slightly spicy hop note and low bitterness. A somewhat clean if utterly uninteresting generic swill.
