Nearly 30 years ago we started brewing Fat Tire Belgian Style Ale. It became an iconic beer, and a symbol synonymous with craft. Now, for the first time, we’re adding a new beer to the Fat Tire family: Fat Tire Belgian White. Taking inspiration from our decades of experience brewing Belgian beers, Fat Tire Belgian White is made with Seville oranges and Indian coriander, both freshly ground less than a mile from our Fort Collins brewery. It’s a fresh, perfectly sweet, natural tasting Belgian White.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 24A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 190302061T (BBF 01 MAR 2020). AROMA: medium-high artificial fruity and floral aroma (tangerine, lemony). slightly sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: light gold color and clear. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a medium artificial-like fruit flavor (tangerine, lemony). medium-low malt background, relatively sweet and neutral. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a witbier with very odd notes.

Can. Hazy pale orange with a dense and stable white head. Aroma dominated by spices and orange, some wheat behind. 6+ Far too sweet and a mite chalky with no tanginess from the wheat and a finish that's not dry enough for the spices to shine.

Dose am Flughafen Orange goldenes Bernstein, klar, schöne Schaumkrone Aroma: Hopfen, kalt und abgestanden. Säuerlich Geschmack: metallisch, etwas Malz, ausgeglichener später und somit auch sanfter. Trotzdem ohne jeglichen Charakter.

12oz can on an American Airlines flight from London Heathrow to Dallas-Forth Worth. Pours fully hazy pale gold with with medium-high white foam, very fine. Aroma is weak, grainy and spiced. Somewhat also white-pulp fruits. Body is average, maybe a little on the light side, with average carbonation. Taste is only moderately sweet, with sensible bitterness for a wit. Finish is fairly short.

Rerate, 355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken: ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of Belgian witbier yeast, wheat, orange peel and coriander. Refreshing wheaty flavour, notes of yeast, grain, orange peel and coriander. Original rating, 3.0: Sample at Vecturamesse (Strag). Pale golden colour. Grainy / wheaty aroma and flavour. Not really impressive.
