Daffodil, overripe grapefruit, funk, gym sock nose. Cloudy golden, thin head. Lemon, grapefruit, mango on the back end. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Hazy golden and light orange coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of very strong sour apple and tropical fruit scents with a good dose of light hops, grass, yeast, resin, funk and way more sour notes - nice! Light to Medium-bodied; Very strong sour apple and mango flavours with a bit of guava, passionfruit and kiwi along with some light hoppy notes showing perfume and dry grass with a very sour finish and some light hop bitterness. Aftertaste shows a lot of fruity flavours with the sour apples, grapes and mangoes front and centre along with some dry hay and grassy elements along with a touch of the yeast and funk on the finish. Overall, a nice sour fruity beer that doesn’t show much of an IPA or hoppy, but nice to sample and good in this style, for sure. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 19-November-2016 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington on 04-February-2017.

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Whole Foods exclusive brewed at Crazy Mountain. Very hazy yellow orange with a bit of off-white head. Aromas of tart lemon citrus, funk, light mango, subtle floral notes. Tastes of tart lemon and grapefruit citrus, some mango and stone fruit, light funk, tart acidic notes, very subtle floral notes on the end. Medium body with a dry and slightly tart finish. Pretty tasty.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks troubles. Cloudy yellow. Great juicy sour aroma with mango, fruity hops, lacto, sour flavor, lactic, juicy, fruity, lemony, with light bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied. Really good and refreshing.

22 oz bottle from Whole Foods Chelsea. Pours a cloudy bright orange color with a fairly fizzy head. The aroma is all tropical fruit juice. Mango with a bit of grapefruit and orange. Grains and wild yeast come through as well. Tastes sour, tart, and fruity, with a bit of sweetness. Interesting beer, fruity, not an IPA. Solid mouthfeel, finishes clean and a little dry. Pretty good though.

From whole foods: pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and lacto. Taste is just sour. Hop character is not really there. Why do they call these IPAs anyway? I feel this style is overdone, so it is very a propos that this is a whole foods collab. Not really as mich mango as you would expect either. It is fine.
