Using all German ingredients, except for the water, each batch is another baby step towards recreating what we’ve experienced in Munich. Straw in color, with a subtly and nuance that is hard to describe and instead needs to be experienced! Notes of fresh baked bread, herbal tea, and puffed rice, create a beer style that is praised for it’s liter-worthy drinkability.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 05/25/2019. Aroma is malt forward with nice grain, cracker, biscuit, bread and light toast notes. Faint floral and herbal hop notes. Pours a moderately clear, golden color with a medium small, thick, pillowy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Medium light lacing and no legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with medium high grain notes, bread, cracker, biscuit and light toast. Medium light bitterness and hints of floral and herbal hop notes. Faint floral esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice, clean, easy drinking beer.

On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. White, wispy head on a clear golden body. Citrus leaning beer with a grainy base, light floral nose.

Beavertown extravaganza. Sour imagery aroma. A hazy Leigh gold. Thin bubbly white hear. Sweet and sour. Kinda chemical. Light and watery. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Weak link of the day for me.

Tap. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, herbal hops, sulphuric, lemony. Taste is the same. Medium carbonation. A nice Lager with some extra touch - but why filter it (at least, it looks filtered)
