Large can drank in our Air B&B, Jochua Tree, California on 7th January 2022. Golden orange body, full and lasting white head. Citrussy nose and taste, hoppy throughout with some pine notes and flavours backing up the initial tropical fruit front to the aroma and taste.

Howler bought at Liquor Shed.
Pours a clear 24k gold, not much foam and short lasting but considering the abv, not unexpected. What little foam there is does leave some lacing.
The smell is a danky, grapefruit, malty combination that has a surprisingly low presence of alcohol. Sweet vs bitter...bitter wins out.
Dank bitterness from the grapefruit and tropical fruit, lots of malty sweetness which I expected. Alcohol, again well hidden except after the swallow.
Smooth bodied due in part to the relatively low carbonation.
Not many Triple IPAs under my belt but I liked this one.

32oz growler, filled at King’s Convenience, pours with a near clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up grapefruit, floral hops, some onion like spicy dankness and then mild sweet bready malts. The taste delivers a pleasing degree of tangelo, grapefruit, mango and pineapple juicy fruity hoppiness with a quick hit of spicy bitter dank onion hops too. It gets resiny and grassy around the edges where a mild level of earthy tea hops are also noticed. This is a big big beer but the ABV is fairly well hidden. So far, with a half a glass down, this is working really well as the hops are there and maintain some harmony where I was expecting more of a flawed boozy beer. Into the finish there are also thin layers of bitter floral hops amid bitter spicy onion dankness. This is a really nice sipper. Well done.

19.2 oz can from Taplands, 5/18/16. Mostly clear orange color with an off-white head that leaves some streaky lacework. Heavy hopped and heavy boozed. Dank. Peach. Booze. Easily one of the most boozy IIPAs I can remember trying. Either way, this is an interesting and rather strong beer with a really nice hop profile, but to be honest, I find it too boozy for the style. Still, worth trying, and solid. Not super drinkable though. Keep it colder, as it warms the booze come out even more. A beast for sure.
