On cask at Dandelion: pours dull amber with cask head. Aroma is earthy, malty, some mellow hoppiness. Taste is earthy, lightly bitter, low sweetness. Not bad.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malt and light breadish. Bitter, caramelish and toasted. Bitter, breadish and caramelish into the finish.

Location: Growler from the brewery, 9/4/15, Happy Long Weekend!

Aroma: The nose aroma is a mix of caramel malts, with some resiny and tropical hop notes
Appearance: A darker reddish beer with a lasting, foamy beige colored head and strong lacing
Flavor: Flavor is fairly balanced as well with a strong hoppy bitterness and a big malt backbone
Palate: The body is medium-plus, smooth and creamy on the mouth, with a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: Really nice, smooth, highly drinkable Imperial Red. One of those beers where my score changed (went up) from the sampling at the brewery to the full size drink from thee growler. The more I drink of this one, the more I enjoy it. Very drinkable for a beer of this size. Quite dry, but balanced by a bit malty presence. Really quite well done.

A hazed reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light chocolate, grassy resinous hops, nice. In mouth, a nice fruity caramel malt with burned caramel notes, floral and grassy hops, well done. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.

Growler shared, thanks to jcwattsrugger, thanks John. Nice amber red color, with lasting head retention. Aroma is grain and caramel malt.

Flavor has a grain base with a light bitter herbal hop in the finish. Abrupt bitter finish, falls off fast. Caramel malt to balance the brew. Medium in body with a mild carbonation. ABV covered really well, Easy drinker.

Growler shared by jcwattsrugger, thanks for the opportunity. Clear amber/red color, nice earthy citrus with caramel and a hint of chocolate. Hides the abv incredibly well. Nice brew.
