Brewery draught, 7/6/24. Nose is spicy, earthy, herbal noble hops. Big malts with more hop notes of pepper and finally fruity yeast. Clean. Clean and malty, zesty, peppery, spicy hops with so much malt depth and mildly fruity (stone fruit) yeast. So elegant, malty and balanced.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, skin of head. Light malty aroma, biscuity. Taste takes a turn for the worst, sharp, metallic, oily. Not good.

At Growler Garage, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy crisp to burnt yellow color with a carbonation rising at a nice pace.
The smell takes in some sweet floral crisp hops bleeding into sweet English malts. Bitterness is really low key, but I’m okay with that since this is rated towards the English side of the wheelhouse.
The taste was sweet with a decent bitterness underneath, still super low and allowing a decent sweet aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat just a tad lighter than some other English IPA’s I’ve had, but honestly I’m okay with that. Carbonation feels good. I’d have this again.

Draft at the brewery, 7/5/15
Clear golden color with a white head and nice lacing. Drippy. Light English hop aroma, clean, not super hot, and maybe a touch thin. Quite smooth. Nice mouthfeel. Enjoyable, but a little dull.

Draft at the brewery 30 May, 2014. Sample glass reveals clear amber with fast dying head. Roasted malt, lightly sweet biscuits, citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, and a touch of caramel. The bitterness seems much lower than 65 IBU’s and really revolves more around the malts. An average IPA, that is easy to drink and does follow the English characteristics.

pale yellow with orange hues, a bit cloudy. nice sticky white head. Lots of english hops, it’s a nice mouthfeel, lingering finish with some pine and some woody notes. Yeast doesn’t do much it’s good.
