On tap at Prohibition Pig. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is dank and grapefruit. Slick body, dank, resin bitterness, very good.

On tap at Prohibition Pig Brewery, pours an opaque peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly dank citrus and piney hops, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour bursts with bright citrus hops, some tropical stone fruits and a biscuity malt base. Tropical and citrusy in the hops department. Very nicely done.

Tap into a shotglass showing cloudy whitish yellow with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows subtle pithy grapefruit. The palate is thick bodied with mild carbonation. Flavors of light petrol/ethanol and pineapple. Moderate bitterness on finish with pineapple on the linger.

On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt to golden orange color with a bar pour’s kind of thin little white head. Light lacing was here and there.
The smell had a nice sweet to bitter grapefruit and sharp bitter pine with extra citrus rolling into a super light malt backbone.
The taste was moderately sweet with a decent bitterness wanting to slide in for the balance but slightly just a tad staying in the background. Drying in the aftertaste with the citrus and leading on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a decent sessionable feel rolling into the feel. Carbonation felt good for a DIPA and a nice bitterness hitting my tongue appropriately.
Overall, I’d say this was a nice DPA that I would have again.

Tap. Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT. Clear gold. Thick, lasting, white head. Juicy, fruity citrus. Some peach. Notes of pine. Nicely fusty and skunky. Mouthwatering, really. Taste is chewy, lightly resinous bitter. Stays clean and drinkable. Finishes zesty, robust bitter. Very clean DIPA.

Draft at the brewery, 7/4/15
Tropical hop aroma of mango, grapefruit, and some light pine. Hazed yellowish pour with a thick, lasting white head and heavy lace. The fruity hops work well on the flavor as well. Nice feel, fairly creamy and smooth with a long, dry close.

By far my favorite beer from this brewer. And best sample on my recent trip. Aroma is juicy fruits with some mild dank scallion and light grass hints. Flavor shows straw, grass upfront with a strong malt base. Pine.

The mouthfeel is effervescent with a nice medium body. The bitterness is grassy and dank, lingering bitterness after the sip. Well made.
