Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy hops, some caramel malts
Flavor: basically the citrusy hops and malts - so sweet and bitter in it's character; brisk finish of the hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smooth tones but sturdy bitterness does clamp down on the tongue
Overall: old school APA, not bad, maybe again.

Sampled at the brewery, 7/3/15.
Decent, slightly dull aroma. Some hop notes, light pale malts. Clear golden color with a white head and medium lace. Flavor is clean and dry. Decent, drinkable, but not something I'd favor.

12 ounce bottle, 3/31/15. Hazy orange, thin creamy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of caramel, doughy malts and citrus hops. The taste is citrus hops, caramel malt. Thin-medium bodied.

Super hazy copper coloured body with a thick, soapy off-white head about three centimetres tall. Aroma of yeast, english hops, corn, dry malt and a touch grassy. Medium-bodied; Strong bready and yeastie flavour at first with a bit of the light hops hitting soon afterwards. Aftertaste shows a bit of a grassy and floral note, with a lot of cereal malt flavours and some dry rice notes as well. Overall, not such a great APA, bordering to me on an EPA, but not too impressive. Not horrible - but there are better beers out there for sure! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-November-2011 for US$2.60 sampled at home in Washington on 22-December-2011.

Bottle from Half Time as Brown’s Pale Ale. Pours hazy amber with a clingy/foamy 3 finger beige head. Aroma of roast malt with citric notes. Flavor is nice level of hop over roast malt. Bitter hits the tongue sides well. Goes a bit fruity with time. Nice stuff.

April 2004. Golden ale with peppery hoppy aroma, good malt with peppery notes, and light grapefruit bitternees, floral. A bit too stringent with a lingering bitterness. Good bodied.
