We combine buckets of juicy whole, crushed cherries and raspberries with a strong amber ale to craft this unique, complex and revered taste. Mild whole hop zest and fresh-fruit tartness perfectly balance this ale’s big malt character.

From my brother: pours amber with a white head. Aroma is light cherry and raspberry. Taste is kind of sweet with low bitterness. Not bad but hardly worth seeking.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a rustic brown color with a slowly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Light lacing. I see the seeds in this, so yes, well, we know that’s authentic raspberry in this.
The aroma leans red raspberry first and then opens up on into some light sweetness. Ends up balancing very nicely between the tart and the sweet.
The flavor balances very nicely between some caramel malts playing underneath on the fruity aromas. Semi-sticky fruity aftertaste leading into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth crisp sweet feel hitting my tongue appropriately. Carbonation is barely there.
Overall, this was a nicely done fruit beer taking the cherry and the red raspberry over a light malt base. For the style, this is quite good and even for me, I can see myself coming back to.

This is pretty much exactly what you'd expect it to be. Strong fruity aroma and flavor. Rather sweet, minimal bitterness or tartness is present. Not bad, but too sweet for me to enjoy much more than this.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours dark amber with a slight beige head. Kind of looks like there’s a reddish tinge in the liquid. Tart raspberry aroma. Body is a bit thin. Flavor is tart and astringent. Starts raspberry, but there is some cherry following. Tart/sour solves all issues. The malt is a bit dodgy, and I’m not sure about hop zest, but the tart fruit and the better malt aspects make this a winner. It has substance!

April 2004. Murky dirty berry brown. Berries and septic tank phenolic aroma. Some wheat and very tart berries, with an off tatse. Medium to light bodied. Worst of the batch.
