Great red ale malty taste with a spicy taste at the end. Not overly sweet or overly hoppy. Easy drinking for a heavier beer.

Location: Draft at the brewpub, 12/31/14, The final beer I drank in 2014!
Aroma: The nose has some rye/spice, clean hop notes, and some sweet malts
Appearance: The pours is a caramel-orange with a beige head and some drippy lacing
Flavor: The rye nicely mellows the sweet malts, and a light-medium bitterness finishes the flavor
Palate: The body is medium (leaning light), with a spicy tingle, and a clean, light dry finish
Overall Impression: The last beer I drank in 2014 (and I guess the first beer I drank in 2015 too as I was finishing this as the ball dropped) happens to double as my favorite beer from Lexington Ave. Some of the others I tried were less successful, but I thought they did a nice job with this one.
