12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A hazy orange pour with a ring of white head; pleasant sweet grapefruit aroma; grapefruit taste with a grainy body, much as expected; but then a dry floury finish with some weak fruit squash that’s rather spoils the whole thing. No trace of any spice, so this isn’t really a Witbier in my opinion.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of coriander seed, curacao, full oranges, lemons and a lot of yeast - strong. Medium-bodied; Very strong coriander seed flavour coupled with a good orange and lemon flavourand some honey sweetness. Aftertaste shows a very pungent yeast kick followed by some subdued sugars and that’s about it - a lot of coriander seed and curacao, but it’s minimal at the end. Overall, a decent wit at best, too much coriander seed flavour and a bit too much oranges, both in the form of a full orange and in curacao. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Stop & Shop in New Paltz, New York on 30-August-2014 sampled a bit later in the day here in New Paltzia.

Mango and peach nose. Hazy golden, thick head and good lacing. Dry, peach flavor. Bitter lemongrass finish. Abundant carbonation, maybe a little too much. Fruity, but not a lot of wheat character. More like an APA, with exclusively fruity hops.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 4/13/14

Aroma: The nose is sweet orange juice and a wheat malt base, some melon, with yeasty notes
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange-gold color with a frothy white head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is mid-plus sweet, lots of orange/citrus flavor, and a fairly unnoticeable bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has an average-plus carbonation, and a tingly, spicy finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was pretty solid. The orange flavor dominates, and it is a little too sweet, but it is a solid beer. It balances more flavor-wise, from the spice and mild bitterness. Not too shabby...

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Cloudy yellow orange appearance with a spidery, off white head. Aroma smells a lot like candy necklaces / bubblegum / smartees. Creamy mouth feel. Some bitterness but not bad. Flavor is sweet and candy like. A lot of pineapple and passion fruit. Strange cookie but not unenjoyable.

Sharp citrusy astringent lemony with a difficult ending. Could be a little more well behaved.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky pale yellow color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart and tangy citrus, cactus, pine and a bit of pineapple. The flavor was dry, tart and sour lemon, cactus and an underlying astringency. Long dry, tart and sour lemon finish. Medium body. Decent.

Refrigerated brown bottle. Taste is grapefruit and crisp hops. Good combination of IPA and Belgian wit.
