North Shore Lagered Ale is a Tatamagouche tribute to the traditional beer of Cologne, Germany. First top-fermented (like an ale) and then cold aged for a lengthy period (like a lager), this beer is crisp and refreshing. North Shore Lagered Ale has light ale notes, with a lager-like crispness.

Pale golden. No head. Very faint hay aroma. Corn and hay and very weak orange juice finish. More hay and grass.

Purchased at the brewery on my trip to Nova Scotia and drinking it fresh. This is the one they were serving as a sample when we got there. Pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a white foamy cap, decent retention and lots of dirty lace. Grainy smell, mildly balanced in the taste with the light hops. Goes down pretty well and their go-to beer.
