Bottle sample at 1634, pours a clear blonde. Aroma is quite dry, with dry white wine notes, dry apple skins and subdued honey. Flavour is more like a dry white wine, with tart apple skins, and subdued wildflower honey. Dry and vinous, with a nice alcohol burn. Very good.

Bottle drunk 5/20/17.
Light amber, clear, low legs/viscosity as meads go.
Lightly phenolic with apple skin, lightly meaty apple flesh and long, dry honey notes that show low richness for a mead. It works fine together, as the apple is intense or overly juicy, so neither honey nor apple dominates and it isn’t particularly boozy or sharp though there is some waxy, peppery, phenol character that I don’t think belongs.
Lightly sticky in the mouth and sweet up front though drying out significantly and gaining light apple tannin and pepper-like character with a somewhat short finish with a touch of warmth from the alcohol.

Thanks TJ. On the shared. Aroma is subtle apples, honey, flowers. Flavor is very subtle. Apple slices, maybe a light spice, massive honey in the finish. Alcohol is not overwhelming. Pretty decent.

Bottle from TJ. split a few ways. Nice legs on the glass. it’s a slightly hazy muted yellow appearance. Smells amazing. apple aroma crisp sweet. bits of honey as well. taste does fall short from the aroma. Very thin body, bitter apple, bits of spice.
