growler from AFH. dark reddish brown. small 1 finger head. This smells really great! like a grassy field of herbs and salad. This is nice. very herbal, black tea, honey, lemon, grassy and pepper finish. Caramel and hickory. this is pretty awesome.

Got the very last of this batch as it kicked. Going to do my best with this description because this is different. The flavor is really interesting: mild sour note up front , dried flowers, hibiscus, and rose hips. Notes of earthy pepper toward the finish. I don’t get lavender tea any place but this brew has some off the wall flavors. Perhaps Butch will make another batch at a later date. This gruit is unique like many of the others this man brews.
