Pony Bar, NY tap ($5): Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Citrus, yeast, funk, and earth are the main ingredients in the aroma. Beer is very light. Citrus and Earth are the main flavours. This is easy to drink and is also quite refreshing, yet nothing here is particularly outstanding.

Draught. Weak fruity aroma, slightly yeasty. Very pale yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a bit yeasty, has a bit of strange yeast. Rather citric finish.

Aroma: The nose is fairly light, some citrus, spice, and yeast/wheat notes
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a white head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly simple, lightly sweet, and a bit of tart and sour notes
Palate: The mouthfeel is fairly light and clean, this one drinks decently
Overall Impression: This is my first rating from Barrier, and another new (to me) brewery from NY. This brew is not terrible by any means, but it is a bit on the dull side. Drinkable, and good enough, but I wouldn't rush out for it again.

A hazed straw yellow saison with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant cloves, coriander and smooth hops. In mouth, a nice clean spiced saison, with nice cloves and prange peels, very nice. Cask at Get Real NY, March 19th 2011.
