Good ginger bite

Tallboy from Finger Lakes Bev. Clear, rigid, plastic cup in hotel oh no. Clear, hot magenta-colored, whatever this is. Smell is moderately strong, natural ginger, almost like Jamaican ginger ale; smells sweet. Taste is a solid bitter, mildly tannic but otherwise non-descript apple & ginger combo, with some lingering hibiscus tartness. Approaching soda-level sweetness, but not quite. Very faint prickly ginger heat. Syrupy slick & probably just a bit under carbed. Pretty tasty. Supposedly all natural. Avoided the brand till now.

Lots of cider at Troy brewfest nice bonus. Light spritzer pour. Nose is ginger and some apple. Tastes of apple, hibiscus, and ginger. Like a brunch cocktail spritzer.

pale reddish color. I mostly get ginger only in the aroma. not too surprising. lots of sweetness with a nice mouthfeel. ginger comes on strong and hibiscus at the finish

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. Very attractive pink color. Aroma is red apple, lightly sour apples with a touch of hibiscus.

Who are these people making this cider? And why haven’t we heard more about them? The contrast between the ginger vs. the flowers with the apple base is simply delicious. The flavor mingles together very well. Damn, I am going to look for bottles on my next trip through NY state. Very good.
