On tap at the Blackback Pub.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy yellow to burnt orange color rimmed with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Even stringy lacing ran here and there.
The smell had the sweet bananas up front and then some bitter rind-like citrus flavors. Subtle dried grassy hops.
The taste was basically the same but as it warms, more of the bitter rind-like qualities come out. Gets drier in the aftertaste with a quick dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Enough harsh bitterness rides in just a tad more than I would have thought for a witbier.
Overall, for the most part, I like it for me and would be a great food beer, but after further analysis, its a bit different for a witbier.

Tap at the brew pub. Clear pale yellow, aroma is very nice with a ton of citrus. Like oranges and lemons. Yeasty.

Flavor is pretty good, lemons, limes, oranges and a yeasty base. No bitterness and a very low carbonation level. Mouthfeel and body is just as thin as all the other beers from this place. Just really, really thin / watery texture. Serviceable to drink.

Pale yellow 2 finger head, thin, faded fast. Great smell. Nice citra presence, no cat pee! yay!!!! Taste like a thin berliner with no wheat and grape juice and orange juice. strange but very refreshing.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with light banana, floral hops, resinous character, very nice. In mouth, a tart yet sweet fruity with light banana, ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light spruce, very nice. On tap at brewery.
