This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow/orange color. Bar pour’s slim head. Quickly died off.
The smell started off with some white pepper, dried pear, light herbal, sweet grass, light lemon. Light Belgian yeasty (semi-breadiness).
The taste was semi-sticky sweet combining the Belgian yeastiness to the pear and grass. White pepper spice seems to slide a bit in the background.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and nice.
Overall, patersbier is what Four Quarters is calling the style of this beer, an un-recognized style on ratebeer, but \"pater\" means \"Father\" from Latin. Patersbiers are \"session Belgian ales built for the Spring to Summer time weather.\"

Tap at the brewery in a 4 oz. sample. Cloudy gold. Aroma is herbal, mint, bay leaves, grain and weak yeast.

Flavor is just like the aroma with a big herbal kick. Notes of grassy, lemon peel and pepper, possibly from the yeast. The mouthfeel is bitter in a off herbal kind of way. The body is medium with a normal carbonation level.

Hazy dark orange. Smell is fantastic. tart, lemon peel and a lot of yeast. Taste on the other hand, super herbal, strange aloe vera sort of taste, bitterness leaves a chalky sticky mouthfeel. Not a fan of the lingering taste.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light sulfur notes, mercaptoethanol, nice coriander, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with faint grassy resinous floral hops, light catty notes, pungent, nice and complex. On tap at brewery.
