On tap at Prohibition Pig Brewery, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tropical fruity hops, light dank hops and biscuity malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with lightly dank, citrus hops and crisp biscuity malt. Nicely balanced, with a lightly bitter finish.

Tap. Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT. Amarillo Citra Mosaic. Opaque orange gold. Messy, sticky, white head. Juicy, orange pith and orange zest. Creamy, lemon malts. Taste is soft, citric bitter. Touch of dry. Clean, easy drinking. Finishes zesty bitter. Dry close.

On tap at Prohibition Pig Brewery, Waterbury. It pours a hazy, orange colored body under a creamy, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has a light malty touch, some wort, citrus and resins. It has a light sweetness in the mouth, as well as a supporting light bitterness, with some citrusy hops to fill in the blanks. It’s smooth and nicely carbonated, full-bodied, with a lasting finish. Not a bad one, but I sure prefer my IPA’s hoppier and drier. 150610

Draft at the source. Aroma is a light Citra hop and sweet grain, honey. Body is average with a nice mouthfeel. The flavor is mostly dominant with citrus with hints of honey and wheat. Good malt balance. Bitterness maybe a tad abrasive. Fairly drinkable overall.

Dark yellow. Good lacing. Smells nice. Lots of tropical fruits and citrus. Good thick mouthfeel. Oatmeal creaminess. The bitterness lingers but not in a good way.
