750 ml bottle, thanks to Willrunforbeer, bottled on 2-21-13. A nice bottle from Brian cellar, thanks for the share. With an ABV of 10.5. dark brown color, no head. Aroma is layered dark fruits, honey and light fruit.
The flavor is a honey nuance upfront with the dark fruits giving a rich full sweetness. I feel like this has maple syrup flavor. Rich and flavorful without getting overly sweet or sugary, like NS Excalibur. This is really much better overall.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer. Pours honey brown with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel honey and syrup with notes of funk. Taste follows aroma with hint of cinnamon.

2013 barrel. No rates yet? WTF? Thanks Brian. A burnt orange appearance. 2 finger head, 75CL C&C. Smells like brown sugar, mango, some funk and oranges. Sweet taste, good mouthfeel. I get cotton candy and maple syrup for sure with a lot of woody tannic notes. finish is sweet and candy like.
