An incredibly satisfying double IPA that is a bit more malt forward than other examples of the style. Flavorful, smooth and dangerously drinkable, this beer features a massive dry hop of Mosaic and Azacca hops

Lord Hobo, Cambridge: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is mellow citrus and cream. Taste is somewhat bitter, sort of juicy. Some hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good.

Taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is clear golden orange with trace sparkle, light foamy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, tropical fruit. Taste is mix of sweet and bitter tropical fruit and grapefruit. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish is dry and crisp like taste. Overall, nice strong aroma and flavor with good balance of sweet and bitter.

Bottle, undated, from Ball Square liquors (shelf), drunk 11/19/15.
Copper body has plentiful white head atop and good clarity. Strong retention.
Well damn is this a tropical paradise or what? Pineapple, coconut, cherry, kiwi, mango...however you want to score it. It smells kind of like one of those fruit cocktails with coconut shreds, maraschino cherry and mandarin oranges, though minus the artificiality or syrupy sweetness. Really, really, really aromatic and just bursting with juiciness. Very light pinch of pine and a hint of scallion, I guess.
Flavor is equally juicy, tropical and delightful. Cherry notes find proper bitterness and citrus and pineapple grow towards the finish. Pale malts are dripping with honey but balance nicely while providing a very comforting texture. Some light pine and a bit of earthiness knock the brightness down a few notches from what it is in the nose, but this is still amazing. Given how great the IPA was, I’m not too surprised. Yes.

Pours deep clear gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Sharp to medium bodied with sweet mango and pineapple upfront turning to resin before the lasting pith finish.

Finally found one of these in Windham today, chilled and ready to go now! Deep golden color with a huge bubbly yellow white head that persists forever. Grapefruit pith, citrus, pine and a hint of earth and green onion dominate the nose. Faint malt aroma I think. The flavor is bitter citrus resin earth with bits of garlic and green onion. Faint sweet bread maltiness provides a hint of balance. Smooth but lingering hop bitterness. That’s a pretty good IPA there, maybe a hint too heavy on the green onion for my tastes, but I really enjoyed it just the same.

Purchased a half dozen bottles on the release day at the brewery 2 April 2015, already started sharing this bad boy with friends. Pretty clear color with lasting head. The aroma is nice mild garlic, scallion and light danky weed.

The flavor is a spot on the aroma. Nice lingering grassy and scallion with a nice level of bitterness that is balanced by a solid backbone of barely backbone. This is through and through Mosaic hops. Wonderful brew and can’t wait to share this again with more friends.
