Named after the Belgian village near Bastogne, this beer pays tribute to the courage of those who fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Foy is a cloudy golden color, with flavors and aroma balanced by late hop additions and spicy phenols created by our prominent yeast strain. Notes of citrus and grass with a dry finish.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy, straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Belgian yeast esters with lemon, coriander, green banana, floral notes and cantaloupe aromas all present. Palate is similar with solid carbonation yet still a creamy mouthfeel. More melon, citrus white pepper and herbal notes throughout. Drying finish.

16oz can looks like IPA, starchy, hazy straw gold with some creamy white head. Smells like... Belgian, clove, candy, straw, flowers, estery. Flavor has a lot of floral notes and yeasty esters over melon and citrus. Well balanced, lightly sweet, medium full bodied. Well made.

Pours a hazy yellow from a can. Yeasty, citrus aroma and flavor, a little one dimensional in the mouth. Good beer.

Can from Crafted. Not a brewery I think ipas from but grabbed anyways. Glad I did this is very tasty. Cloudy yellow pour and smaller soapy head. Nose is Belgian heat and citrus. Taste of yeast, crackers, melon, lemon, cloves. Fruity and dry. Really hit the spot.

On tap at Schilling Beer Co, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is floral, with lots of esters, floral hops, and light-medium sweetness from the esters. Decently constructed, but his hybrid style is lost on me.

Pours hazy straw into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Citrus and yeast aromas. Sweet with yeast and sourdough upfront turning to citrus and tropical fruit in the lasting finish.

Draught at the brewery, 8/11/16.
Light haziness in this tangerine-golden beer with a white head atop that is medium-sized and showing moderate retention.
Spicy belgian yeast in the nose gives way to moderate orange and lemon notes from the hops as soft honey-like maltiness balances in the background. Fruity, with some light pine and a pretty good balance between American hop and Belgian yeast. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it has a juicy, citrus hop character that provide moderate bitterness. Lots of dry pineapple, nectarine and light peach from the yeast, with moderately spicy phenolics. The dryness and acidity mixing together from both yeast and hop proves a bit too much for me, though the malts are soft and comforting, despite being quite attenuated. Still quite enjoyable.
