Fat Head’s Pillage Porter is infused with a hint of hazelnut. The hazelnut adds an additional layer of complexity to both the aroma and flavor of this porter. Served on the nitro taps to accentuate the creamy body of this beer, making it extremely smooth and satisfying.

Draft @ FH on 11/26/14 in a sample glass dark black with a lasting foamy head that laced the glass. Aroma is almost identical to a gas station coffee creamer, the powdery French vanilla brad, not hazelnut. Creamy carbonation over the tongue with cheap coffee creamer showing again. Texture is kind of chalky. A sample size is just enough because after 4 oz. because it just gets very sweet and chalky.

Pitch black, some brown to maroon edges, espresso cream head but fades to some decent lacing. Nose is like cheap convenience store coffee with french vanilla cream added. sugary sweet, corn syrup and chocolate. it’s just like cheap coffee creamer. Taste is much dryer than the nose. sweet creamy sugary sweet with lots of vanilla and nutty taste. too much for me
