Our Green Street Sour IPA is the new sour cousin to our High Street Vermont IPA. It has the same attention to hop and malt balance with with additional kick of our sour yeast. It’s not the jolt to your taste buds that our Flemish Sour Brown provides, but it certainly has a powerful, tart presence to support its hoppiness. We also committed to using 100% locally sourced hops from our neighbors at Four Star Farms for their truly excellent aroma and flavor. Are you ready for a new approach to an old style?

Can pour from trade with Johnnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a hazy medium brown (cream soda) with decent sparkle, finger-width frothy off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart fruit with milder sweet citrusy offset. Taste is strong sour fruit and yeast from the second it touches my lips with a touch of barnyard and milder hoppy (hint of pineapple?), woody balance. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength to the aroma and taste and gets props for being well crafted with decent complexity and interest, but it's just not my style. Glad to try the brewery!

Can from the brewery labeled as Green SIPA Brilliant dark gold in color with a good sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Earthy lemony tartness front and center. Citrus and earthy hops with hints of cherry and earthy woodiness to counter. Complex, really nice.

Tall can from Brewdog Birmingham. Murky gold pour, good white head. Aroma is noticeably sweet, sugary, sherbetty. Taste follows with a distinctly sweet, sherbetty, super tangy character that masks whatever hops are present. Way too tangy and sweet for me.

16 ounce can from Whole Foods on South Street in Phladelphia. Hazy amber orange color. Small creamy beige head. Funky, fruity toasted malt nose. Big sour fruit malt flavor upfront. Notes of sour plums, yeasty bread and sour lemon. Hints of spicy hops in finish. This is a really well made hybrid ale that gets it right. Delicious!

From my dear brother: pours cloudy orange with whote head. Aroma is citrusy and lemony. Taste is rather sour... citrusy with very little IPA things really happening. Not bad.

16 oz. can purchased at CBC Waterbury, VT. Dirty orange in color with low carbonation. Aroma is mostly Brettanomyces Claussenii with notes of vinegar. Oh boy... Why did I buy this?

Flavor about what you would expect, a mega ton of Brett C, notes of Band-aid, steady amount of lactic acid. Gives me heart burn. Although I have enjoyed some Brett IPA’s in the past, I am not a huge fan of this.
