Queen is a truly unique IPA brewed with real raspberry. We dumped a stupid amount of American hops into this beer, giving the Queen a gorgeous bouquet of tropical fruit that is complemented by a subtle tartness from raspberry purée. This is a refreshing, delicious, and totally crushable IPA.

Can sample at a tasting at Alexey & Raphaela’s place. Thanks Alexey & Raphaela. Cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma of some raspberries and some citric hops. Flavor is slightly tart, bitterish, with some raspberries, and bitter citric hops. Medium-bodied. Doesn’t work that well, but still OK.

Orange with a little bit of pink color. I don’t really get any raspberry on the sniff test. Just a it of pine and oranges. Well, it’s kind of an IPA and kind of a fruit beer. Raspberry is not even that detectable. It’s just like a sweet citrus beer.

Can at home. Very pretty can of beer. Hazy light reddish orange beer with two finger head. Nose is hoppy and some berry fruitiness. Tastes of citrus hops, some barnyard, malt, very light raspberry but at least tastes really and not shitty syrup. Anyways nice carbonation and zippy palate. Fine enough, I’ve been pretty against the fruited IPA craze but perhaps I’m softening on that stance.

16 oz. can purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. Slightly hazy gold with standard carbonation levels. The aroma is light Berry, mild straw and hints of citrus.
The flavor has a pale malt backbone with notes of citrus that gives bitterness. The berry is a natural nuance that is found in a subtle manner in the aroma and carries into the flavor. Overall this was very fun to try.

Pours a hazy amber from a can. Fruity piney aroma and flavor, not very deScriptive but it delivers on its promise. Well-balanced and refreshing. Good beer.

On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt orange color with a bar pour’s kind slim white head. Somewhat messy lacing running here and there.
The smell takes on the normal qualities of a citrus/cascade hopped AIPA, grassy/citrus/grapefruit and then they (Foolproof) aged this on some raspberries????, Uh...yeah, guys, good job, woohoo! I dig it. So some sour/tartness comes out from the raspberries (mmmm...smells authentic).
The taste pretty much copies the aroma - bitter to sweet to the dry grassy and then the tart/sour raspberry thing going on. Raspberries do show a light presence in the aftertaste along with the sweetness of the citrus. Subtle dry grassy/raspberry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable quality about it. Carbonation feels good/low. Nice bitterness as an AIPA hitting my tongue.
Overall, I’d say Foolproof did this one well. I’d have again.
