Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Dark amber red fruit brown, lacing creamy tanned head. Nose is figs berries, huge red wine, this is more sticky jellly red wine than sherry for me, vintage fruits. Taste, this really needed to warm up and open, at first low plastic, almost medicinal notes, quickly red fruit jam, good oxidation, big spoiled sweet cherry, leaves, big sugar, more sticky sweet red wine than sherry but still dark fruit oxidation notes, wine ranks. Body is syrupy red wine. Interesting spoiled red cherry, jammy red wine, oxidation notes,... Quirky & quite nice. Opinions of others were less high & mixed.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! Intense and deep dry roasted beginning. Fresh, smooth, very mild. The wood is there, the Weizenbock very dark in aroma, but the yeast ist spicy with banana and fits great into the picture - Long and intense deep aftertaste, round and great!

Bottle from Brewery Tap, consumed at home Sunday 23rd January 2017 Murky brown, a bit puddly in appearance, nice creamy textured light tan head. Tangy, fruity and tart, soft carbonation, drying at the end. Some sharpness from the fruit skins a little boozy, not totally my thing, not really sure what its all about. Ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Okay. 9/9/9/9/12/9

Draught @ OT. A pretty messy beer that I never would have guessed being a weizenbock. Notes of sour berries, banana and soy. Unpleasant fizzy mouthfeel.
