Growler filled 5/21 and drunk 5/25/16.
Apple juice golden appearance shows only a light haze with a fairly-well-retained white head atop.
Lots of lemon, light sourdough and pine combine with vanilla and orange rind to give off a rather juicy yet slightly aggressive hop aroma. Biscuits, crackers and more sourdough are noted from the malts, which balance but also add a level of "dryness" or light "sourness" as some refer to it. So it’s a bit of a mixed bag for me as half the aromatics are great and half aren’t so much. Otherwise, clean and without any alcohol.
Fairly substantial mouthfeel, though there’s a good deal of bready malts and lots of cracker/grain. Lemon, orange rind and pine all assert themselves, as well and I will say it’s got A LOT of flavor for its size. Just gets rather fatiguing/sharp/astringent.

Sampled at the brewery. 5/21/2016. Pours a hazy light yellow with thick white head, excellent lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, some orange.

Taste is more of the same, minimal malts, hoppy and clean. Nice citrus notes on the tongue. Maybe a touch of black pepper. Orange rind bitterness that is balanced by a modest grain bill. Mouthfeel is crisp. Gosh, I need to start telling people about this brewery. Very nicely made ales.

Hazy golden. 4 finger white head Really good clove and peppery aroma with a little orange peel. Good delicate mouthfeel. Orange peel, tannic acidic bitterness with a little chalky taste as well. Finishes dry. Maybe a little sugar there.
