Pours hazy mango into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Mango, pineapple and coconut aromas. Soft with pina colada and dark caramel upfront turning to warm, dry resin and pith in the lasting finish.

Can pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is cloudy, dark yellow/light brown, without discernible sparkle, with finger-width foamy off-white head with fair retention. Aroma is citrus and fruit, then becomes somewhat musky and herbal. Taste starts citrusy without any fruitiness, then turns very bitter with a musty, herbal quality. Palate is light-to-medium bodied, frothy texture, lively carbonation (almost stinging the tip of the tongue) and arid dry, grapefruit bitter finish. Overall, though there is some citrus and fruit in the early going, this is dominated by bitterness, has a musky/herbal quality that seems somewhat off and is extremely dry. Not my cup of tea.

Growler filled 2/13/16 and drunk 2/20/16, shared by Blisscent, thanks Nelson!
Fantastic pour doesn’t show the soupy Trillium/Heady/HF NE IPA pour, but nonetheless has a light haze, a bright copper-gold color and a large white head that is well-retained.
Bubble gum, juicy fruits, lychee, candied orange and watermelon are all delightfully aromatic and show no heavy pine/resin given its size. Malts behind it sit in the background and leave the hops alone. No sign of the booze. So far so good!
Very bright, melon-heavy and with tons of juicy fruits and lightly candied orange/tropical fruit. Some dank, green, almost herbal notes show depth and there is a lightly sweet honey-like maltiness that never gets heavily sweet or throws much, if any, caramel in to the mix. Mostly tight carbonation and a soft, malty texture. Excellent stuff and proves you don’t have to make the Tree House/Trillium/HF/Alchemist IPA just to make a good IPA in New England (though it doesn’t hurt).

Growler. Hazy orange in color, huge thick lacing and legs over the snifter. Aroma is bold citrus, orange, citrus, peach, tropical fruit.
Great Galaxy hops through out the sip. Cat piss is maybe borderline to much but the amount of fruit really helps the overall drink ability of this DIPA. Also a touch of earthy pine and earthy tones. Bitterness is long and lingering. Nice.

Thanks Nelson for sharing this half gallon growler filled a few days ago. reddish orange color. very light head. Aroma is a little pungent. Galaxy, some cat urine here but a really good grape and tropical fruit aroma. Really good mouthfeel, Galaxy is present throughout. tropical, juicy with this huge pine resin from middle to finish.
