750 ml bottle, thanks to Willrunforbeer, bottled on 11-25-2013. With an ABV of 12.5, dark mahogany color, no head. Aroma is has a unfinished leather, caramel malt, and figs.
The flavor is deep levels of dark fruits covered in sugar. Like a ton of sugar, enough to put you into diabetic shock. The rum is found in the form of a moderate spice. Body is average with a very minor hint of alcohol warming after the sip. I feel like they left to much residual sugar in here. That said, take a small pour.

Poured from bottle 11/25/13 thanks Willrunforbeer. Pours reddish orange with off white head. Aromas of caramel toffee and hints of maple syrup. Taste is boozy brandy caramel. This has aged well.

Burnt redddish orange. 1 finger head fades immediatley. Has a ton of caramel and toffee with brown sugar and maple syrup. Incredibly sweet. Loads of maple, birch wood, and a ton of sugar. tastes like simple syrup with brown sugar and cookie dough. really sweet too intense! Heavy body way too sweet

Sampled right off the bottling line at the brewery. Pours an inky brown with some wispy, white head. Boozy nose, sweet, brandy, nail polish. Flavor is very sweet, brandy, apples, brown sugar, caramel, almost a little mint. Boozy, sticky finish. This has good structure, but it needs plenty of time in the bottle to mellow out.
