Brown dark burnt nose is weak slightly crystal sweetness. Yeah taste is sweet birch and oak with olive brine and harsh burnt pepper finish

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Poured a clear reddish amber with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma was had a light pine hop with a good amount of grapefruit and resin with a bread backbone. Flavor started with pine and was joined by grapefruit with a bit of resin and a light bread backbone.

A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing off white head. A classy hop infused aroma, with light nutty notes. In mouth, a good malt backbone with loads of hops, pink grapefruit, sustained bitterness. An IPA with balls. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2008.
