Served in a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy yellow color with a bar pourβs kind of slim white head that left no lacing.
The smell had some sweet wheat, lemon juice sweetness, and a modified pine bitterness underneath.
The taste was sweet mainly through the wheat and lemon. Combined sweet to bitter aftertaste. Wet smooth crisp sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fantastic sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and light.
Overall, nice blonde, wouldn't mind banging again.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours mostly clear, bright yellow with a creamy, pure white head. Basic nose with light cereal, hay, some grains, white bread. Light sweet flavor with dry biscuits, straw, white bread, low bitterness. Light in body with fine to average carbonation. Simple, sweet finish with slight bitter hay, pale cereal, biscuits. A delightful little kolsch.

On tap at the brewpub Pours a clear golden color with thinnish white head and retention. Smells of grainy and honey malt with a slightly earthy hop aroma. Taste is sweet with and earthy hop bite. Honey and grass maltiness come through nicely until the finish hits with a weird astringent plastic phenolic taste. Light body with a medium level of carbonation and a sweet almost sticky mouthfeel. I think this would have been a great light beer if there wasnβt something obviously wrong with it.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma was quite crisp with some sweet grains and a nice grass note. Flavor was similar with a combination of hay, light sweet grain and a nice crisp grass note.

A light blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. A rather sweet boiled corn and maple aroma. In mouth, a light and sweetish beer with light crisp hops, a light sweet solvent in finale. Boring. On tap at brewpub, August 2 2009.
