Pale yellow. No head. Sweet corn and rice and cotton candy with a touch of table sugar. Quite hoppy with pine needles and tree bark and European hops, creamed corn sweet finish

Pours a nice golden-peach color with mid-sized head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is a nicely subdued combination of hop bitterness and citrus notes. Very smooth finish to the beer. Not bad at all.

Hazy, almost chunky copper coloured body with some honey highlights and a two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, bright citrus and pine, alcohol and quite a bit of pungent apricots. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops up front with a good dose of earthy maltiness and some more robust and lingering deep pungent flavours aside from the simple hops. Aftertaste is more complex than a traditional ipa with a lot of pine and floral hop notes, even more malt and some alcohol that shows strong. Overall, a neat interesting ipa with some nice qualities, but not a typical ipa, so if you want just hops - this probably isn’t the best choice. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-November-2011 for US$4.99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-January-2012.

A lightly hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, doughy caramel malt with pinhey hops, citrus pulp. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with floral hops, pinhey and smooth, well done. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 12 2011.

This pours cloudy dark yellow with a lasting, sticky white head. The aroma is pleasant herbal hops but is somewhat weak; not being very assertive. Lightly bitter; the flavor follows the aroma closely. This is good and easily drunk, but I would describe it as an excellent American Pale Ale because it just needs more to fall into IPA range.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, minimal head. Lots of sweaty grapefruit in the nose. Fairly dry with clean mouthfeel and solid body. Some biscuit ymalt, lots of bitter orange and soap. Long resiny bitterness. Solid but unremarkable IPA.
