Growler from Gourmet Haus in Redwood City. Over citrus and berry aroma and flavor. Hazy yellow with full white head. Enjoyed during a camping trip on the River.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 2, 2019. Aroma is hop forward with lots of passion fruit, mango, tangerine, orange and tropical citrus notes. Light dank, resin notes and light cracker malt notes. Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a medium large, thick, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers thicker on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and a hint of alcohol spice. Fairly strong hop notes of mango, passion fruit, tropical citrus, orange and tangerine. Hints of resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice IPA. Great hop notes with a somewhat sweet, light malt profile in the background.

The beer is a dark yellow amber color. It’s pretty hazy. Smallish, dull white head. The aroma is full of tangerine and pineapple hoppiness. Light spicy, limey edge to it. Some mango and papaya. Very citrus forward. Taste has a lot of citrus. It’s pure tangerine juice and rind, really. Moderate bitterness. Easy to drink. Lots of good hop flavor. Mild pale malt character. Lots of hop oiliness. Good stuff though I feel like I’ve grown away from Citra with all of these awesome hops that Cellarmaker uses.

Growler split at a tasting. Pours a clear golden color with a slightly off putting aroma. Bitter. Flavor slightly redeeming with some tropical fruit and sweet malty character. A lot of citrus hops on the finish. Flavor alone I van enjoy this IPA. A bit of a thicker body. A lot of fruit. Not a standout IPA for me but overall I enjoyed this.

Pint at good karma. Golden yellow. Nice clarity with a half a finger head. The nose is explosive. Tons of grapefruit and a touch of lemon. Oh boy. There’s that mosaic. Very soft start with all of the right flavors. The malt gets out of the way. There is a harsh cannabis taste and a touch of honey sweetness that detracts. Everything else is solid
