Tap at University of Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark amber with a white head. Aroma is rye and brown sugar. Full bodied. Flavor is rye, treacle, lots of light fruit. Finishes not dry, but that’s appropriate. Just delicious.

Tap. Pours clear amber, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is a bit like the heilemans brewery back in the day, malts, rye whiskey, toffee, spent grain, bran breakfast cereal. Flavor is fairly sweet, lots of bran and rye, light bitter, bit of vanilla. Medium body, ABV fairly well masked.

Draft. Amber-brown beer with a dark cream head. Rich caramel and light spice aroma. Caramel and dark fruit flavor with light earthiness. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel and dark fruit lingers with light toffee, light spice, and light earthiness.

Minor hazy tangerine brown. Caramel, bread and spice on the nose. Lots of sweet cotton candy notes. Taste is pretty medicinal. Lots of overwhelming bitterness, very boozy, sweet finish. Cedar and mulch with pine needles and a splash of olive brine.

From bottle at Jupiter during Sour Sunday 2014. Hazy dark orange with a small head. Sweet with caramel, light spices, malt and some whiskey. The mouthfeel was thick and the finish had some warming alcohol.
