Crimson creamy head. Nose is sweet like almost tart nose with a candy like oak. Taste is fairly bland. Alt presence comes in strong, sticky dank icky piney notes and an English barleywine malt and yeast presence. Finish is minor ash with lots of residual sweetness and cheap candy

Draft at the Encinitas Ale House - Encinitas, CA. Pours clear amber with a foamy, tan head. Interesting stuff. Lots of ripe, tangy fruits, a bit of hot alcohol, wet wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with prominent barrel character, wet wood, more tangy fruits. OK but a touch heavy handed.

Clear amber with a medium sized beige head and good lacing. Aroma of whiskey, cherries and vanilla. Flavors of woody, whiskey and vanilla

Draft. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Malt and light brandy aroma. Brandy and light citrus hop flavor with light malt and light chocolate. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and brandy linger with light malt and light dried fruit.

Tap at Gallery II: Beauty From A Barrel. Pours very dark with a slight beige head. Aroma is sour, heat, berry fruit. Med body. Flavor is fruity sour with dark malt. Some heat. Some oak. Very nice.
