Burnt orange Simcoe and warrior on the nose. A hint of citra. Nice grapefruit and tangerine. There’s a lot of pine cone and resin. Some maltiness which is a surprise for the abv.

Hazey light brown. 1 finger head subsides fast. More of citra. Love that the brewer uses a lot of citra. Excellent tropical and grapefruit scent but it's a little too light. Nice! The taste is rocking. Very smooth. Hunt of sweetness. Decent malt backbone. 70% carbonation on mouth swish.

Copper in color, small lasting head. Bold nose of floral and grassy / grapefruity nose. Lively mouthfeel. Kind of slick oily texture. Hops are alive with citrus and pine. Only one other beer I liked more on this sampling trip to the pub. Well worth a full pint.

A lightly hazed orange amber ale with a thin off white head. A good restrained fragrant hops aroma, with meaty notes, grapefruits, classy. In mouth, a good Impy with oily malt and c-hops, grapefruits and warming alcohol. Rich and chamring. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2009.
