Draft Three Penny Taproom. 2012 vintage. Nose is herbs, yeast tones with some light funky gourd. Taste is mild yeast, earthy herbs with very little spice. No pumpkin can be found in the flavor. Very mild tartness without any funk to mention. Small / weak pucker in the taste buds. Medium, chewy body with a low carbonation level. A pretty smooth, well-tuned lightly tart saison. I never had it fresh so it’s hard for me to gauge how the year of age changed it. Nice.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Hint of cloudiness. Darkened orange. 3 finger solid white head Nose is coriander, lemon peel, grass and nutmeg Taste is heavy on the pumpkin followed by cinnamon and nutmeg. Sort of oaky with Lemon peel. Soft French saison yeast. Finish is dry and medium body
