250 ml. draft @ Beerlovers Bar. I have found Ghost beers general a bit different from the standard in their take on USA style, this beer is definitely very different in its malt & hop profile from you average run-of-the-mill APA. Very unusual but interesting & ultimately successful. Dark amber, orange, big creamy tanned head. Nose is overripe strawberry hop with a bit almost syrupy dark malt base, pine resin & caramel dark bread malts. Taste is herbal cough syrup upfront, red fruit hop, medicinal pine, dark bread, quite grainy big grainy dark bread, herbal, rye,… Grainy bodied & even the carbonation is unusual, touch higher, big bubbles, bit much but overall interesting, malt, usual hop, neat.

Pours rather unclear amberblonde. Good to big white head. Smell is weak, very mild creamy malts. Taste is not overly intense, mild aromatic hops, very subtile notes of bitterness. Creamy malts. Hidden metallic features. Nice, but not amazed.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met TomHendriksen. Licht amber kleurig, beetje troebel bier met stevige schuimkraag. Aroma en smaak is zeer hoppig. Smaak ebt snel weg.

Bottle sample at the "Farewell to Vova Shack" tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Amber. Aroma of fruity hops, citric and tropical, slightly stale, and caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, and bitter fruity hops. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.
