Can from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Opaque, murky, dark brown, tons of sparkle, thick head with excellent retention and decent lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, pine, fruit. Taste is strong roasted malt and pine. Smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. It isn't wowing me but it is a good, standard black IPA.

4 oz. Sample at the source. Black liquid with light retention. Nose is pretty nice. Good roasted character, chocolate malt with pine needles and some light char. Texture is dry and resinous. Lingering pine bitterness. If you like piney black IPA’s, this is a nice sample.

A deep dark brown IPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, soft chocolate malt over grassy hops, light funk, musky. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with herbal and piney hops, light licorice, musty and very nice. On tap at brewpub, July 29 2012.

Dark brown. Amber edges. Nice tab head lacing. 1 finger then fades. Very nice fruity bitterness and heavy dark malts on the nose. Pineapple and peaches. Wow. Really nice. Borderline porter and double IPA. It's a nice beer. Very sippable. Not chuggable at all. Bitterness on the finish is meh but this is enjoyable.
