Had this at a draft-only place in Yalta, near the marshrutka station. Golden-brown colour. . Limited aroma, light body and slight caramel palate. Basically clean but not much flavour.

Looks fine, but man is the flavour nasty. I got plastic and grapes on the nose; the palate bursts with tin, followed by cheap sherry (if you've ever had the likes of Hermits or Wild Irish Rose you'll know what i'm talking about).

Dark brown with some ruby around the edges with an average white head. Funny malt aroma (stale maybe?) The flavor is sweet malt, better than expected, but still off a bit. Some breadiness to this. Still better than some of the other offerings from the former USSR.

Really has a nice dark red hue... a tinge away from blood, might make a nice halloween brew. Small head. Little scent, but what is there smells like garden veggies... Very strange taste... I can say I've never had a beer that tasted like this before. But the big problem is for me to decide if I like it or not. Man, what is that taste? I couldn't finish this... This is the first beer in a long time I had to pour down the drain.

Deep ruby red with creamy head. Roasty, fairly sweet with notes of coffee. Medium bitterness.

Wow - Oakes...I'm glad mine wasn't as bad as yours. Anyway - I found it to be a generally uninteresting dunkel, although it had some nice traits. Generally malty, but no depth to the malt flavor. I found it very creamy, though, with a nice thick head and good mouthfeel. Appropriate brownish color. Malty but slight aroma.
