NERAX cask, 4/20/23. Clear, very pale brass. Big, off-white head, well-retained. Nose is super, super estery, like big Belgian. Graham cracker, white bread and various spicy phenols behind it. Light maple, butter, honey, vague bitterness. No Belgian esters at least but other than a solid honey-biscuit like maltiness and balancing bitterness, there's not much remarkable here. Probably would help if this wasn't still refermenting....

Cask pint, hand-pulled in the Boar and Fable, Bradford on 1st April 2023, just before the Bradford v Grimsby game (we lost 3-2, 2,211 Mariners there). Nice looking beer, Amber gold body, white crown. Malty and interesting, good solid brew all round.

Cask-conditioned at the Postern Gate York (JDW) February 2020. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. A touch of tangerine fruit, citrus hops, sweet digestive malts and a moderately bitter, finish. Ok.

Clear yellow with next to no head. It is very malty and slightly overbearing in this respect.

Cask at the Myrtle Grove (JDW), Bingley, West Yorks’, 03-05-07. Golden in colour, nice floral aroma with a hint of alcohol. Taste was very smooth with hints of vanilla, some grapefruit flavours also coming through after with a dry finish, great beer, suprised at the ratings of others as I felt this was an excellent beer.

Sampled cask conditioned. Pale golden, actually looks like a stale lager. Flowery hop aroma. Soapy mouthfeel, medium bodied, rather sweet and fruity. Nice hop bitterness and salty finish. Nice, but nothing too special.
